As I was planning my trip to Las Vegas, I wanted Pinterest-worthy, cute, comfortable, vibrant, and affordable clothes for warm weather. SHEIN outfits immediately came to mind because they met most of my criteria. However, I had a HUGE reservation because of its reputation of being a scam or a catfish.

I bought this outfit for any chilly days roaming around the Vegas strip. That is why I decided to go with a casual Nevada-themed yellow T-shirt and some mom jeans from SHEIN. The T-shirt is of good quality and true to size. The mom jean is really cute and of good quality but a little bit uncomfortable when I sat down. This is because the material does not stretch. It made me think I should have sized up to accommodate my booty and thighs. (Tshirt Size: Small, Mom Jeans Size: Small)

I saw these red floral maxi pants on SHEIN, and I immediately fell in love. When shopping for outfits, I like finding one unique element. And these pants gave me a unique design. In my opinion, the slits are super gorgeous. Although, when the wind is blowing outside, it may expose the legs. However, I don’t mind when my clothes have a long slit because I am all for showing the legs. Lastly, the pants don’t have a lining, but the material is not transparent. The outfit was perfect for Las Vegas.

This Romper from SHEIN is just super adorable for brunch or dates. Something funny, I have been tempted to buy this romper for years since my college days but was not so sure about online shopping then. But, I finally did it and I was 100% pleased. This romper has an inner lining so it’s not transparent. (Romper Size: Small)

Once again, I am all for finding that one unique element when buying outfits. And that applies to swimsuits as well. This SHEIN three-piece swimsuit won me over because of the pants coverup. The swimsuit is gorgeous and Instagram-worthy. Also, the quality is okay. It’s basically what you pay for, to be honest. (Swimsuit Size: Medium).

This top is so ADORABLE and they have a ton of different colors. On the other hand, the white shorts are so cute but not stretchy. When I sit down they are so uncomfortable. It might be best for a slender girl but they are not flexible enough for my thick thighs. Nevertheless, I know if I size up, the waist size for the shorts will be too big. However, the material is of good quality. (Top Size: Small, Shorts Size: Medium)

This was the last day of my trip to Las Vegas and I was extremely tired to put on makeup and think of outfits. I resorted to wearing this comfortable red SHEIN polka dot top to give me the necessary vibrancy, without making effort. The top is so adorable for a casual day. (Top Size: Small)

Sadly this dress was an epic fail for me. They sent me an XS size instead of a Small. In addition, it was super transparent and too short. The dress is a cute style but looked like the wind would just expose everything. If you purchase, you’d probably need to wear biker shorts underneath. REALLY REALLY Cute though.
Shipping
And ooh yeah! The most important review about Shein: shipping took exactly 9 days.

In summary, SHEIN online store is not a scam. Per my personal reviews, SHEIN is in fact legit. It is definitely a cheap store, where you get what you pay for. It reminds me of the clothes I needed when I was a struggling college student. The one piece of advice I’d give is to pay attention to the reviews. Look for details like “not transparent”, “has a lining”, “stretchy”. In addition, I think that they have really cute clothes and if you search well enough, you can find quality gems for cheap.
Will I ever buy SHEIN again? Absolutely Yes. I will just be more careful with the sizing details for jeans pants and shorts next time.
