Are you wondering how to be successful and achieve everything you want in life? Well, here are the most life-changing tips how to be successful in life. And a free life journal is included. Download below.

Being successful in life is not as easy as you may think. I know sometimes you might pursue one interest, then end up despising it.
Or in other instances, you confidently know what you want, but never have the money, resources, and/or time to achieve it.
Don’t you wish life could be simple and predictable? Yeah right me too.
Well, you don’t know 100% of what the future holds, only God does. But you sure CAN DO YOUR BEST NOW. Sure as heck you can take full charge and control of the now.
You can dream, you can speak life into existence, you can seek wisdom, and you can act on your purpose. That’s absolutely it.
10 Tips How to be Successful in Life

1. Define contentment
The first step to becoming your most successful self in life is defining contentment. I love working backward so that you don’t miss out on anything.
Think about the big picture in life, what do you want?
These are the questions you should ask yourself now, in order to define your roadmap to success:
- What will it take to make you happy?
- How much money do you need to make a year to live a comfortable lifestyle?
- What occupation will satisfy your purpose/calling?
- Where do you want to live?
- What kind of house do you want?
- Who is your “perfect” partner?
- What does your “perfect” family look like?
- How many times a year would you like to travel?
- What do you find utmost fulfillment in?
I can go on and forth but you get the general gist, right?
See, the purpose of defining contentment first is so that you don’t live your entire life chasing vanity. In addition, it allows you to create a reasonable timeline to achieve your goals. NO STRESS.
Everyone’s level of contentment is different. You might be happy living in a tiny home, while I might be happy living in a big house with white cabinets.
Nevertheless, you might be happy living a wanderlust lifestyle, while I might be happily settled with a cat. You might prefer being a businesswoman, while I might prefer being a career woman. There’s absolutely no right or wrong answer.
It is important to dive deep into your soul to see what you really want. Yes, YOU. Never let anyone define happiness for you.
2. Write down your dreams
To be successful in life, I am a firm believer that whatever you write down comes to pass. Oh my! I can definitely attest to this. Being a big dreamer, I got into the habit of writing down my goals.
For instance, I would write down my prayers for the year, then revisit them later to write down my thanksgiving for what God has done. It has actually become a cycle of new testimonies when you see the answered prayers.
Sometimes you might feel like God is not answering your prayers. However, having the notes to go back to will make you aware of what God has already done. Also, it will remind you of his promises to you.
I usually tell everyone, dream like you have never dreamt before. If your dreams don’t scare you, then you’re limiting yourself.
So, start a journal and write down your dreams.
3. Speak your dreams to existence
To be successful in life, you have to start watching how you speak to yourself. People are listening, your soul is listening and most of all the devil is listening. I know it sounds so creepy, but the power of your words is so effective.
Do not give the devil something to work with. For his job is to create lies around your beliefs and amplify the voice of your negative thoughts.
In fact, CONFIDENTLY speak life into your future.
I know that it is normal and natural to have negative emotions here and there. All I am saying is that you just have to catch yourself before you fall.
For example, when I am feeling low and all I want to tell myself loudly is that “I am the worst”, I usually try to say the opposite instead. I would randomly yell, “I love myself soo much.” It’s actually quite embarrassing haha!
You gotta do what you have to do to be successful in life.
4. Ignore limiting beliefs
When you’re on a journey to being your most successful self, remember to ignore limiting beliefs. Limiting beliefs usually comes from listening to other people’s negative opinions.
Just be careful who you speak to about your pursuit of happiness. Not everyone wishes you well.
Remember to share your knowledge with everyone. But do not share your ideas with just anyone.
Earlier on, recognize dream nurturers vs. dream killers. Limit any progress conversations with people that don’t see eye to eye with you.
I am not saying all dream killers are bad people. Sometimes, their advice comes from a good heart. For example, your family may not be supportive of your dreams, because they just fear you won’t make money. It’s a valid concern.
Just heed to advice, then pick and choose what works for you.
5. Individualize success
I know a lot of people’s dreams are killed by comparison and jealousy. It’s natural to feel envious of someone else’s success and wish it was yours.
But it’s a matter of catching yourself before you fall. Because you know what! There is room for everyone.
Just because someone else started something before you, it doesn’t mean you can’t as well. There’s a piece of the pie for everyone. Don’t be discouraged
To be successful in life, no woman should ever ride solo. We totally need each other. When we put all our energy towards one another it’s absolutely magical. We actually accomplish more being a team.
We all need to be women who empower other women. Start individualizing success. It’s not a competition.
Remember, you’re unique in your own sense. You’re your own competition. You are in your own timeline.
6. Act on your dreams
We all know that faith without action is dead. So, to be successful in life, you have to start acting on your dreams. Set goals and take small steps that bring you closer to your destiny.
Start by seeking knowledge and praying for wisdom. There is a ton of free education out there. Learn from people with experience, watch their moves and ask questions.
The difference between successful people and non-successful people is mainly their drive. When faced with challenges, you will find that successful people ask the question “how can I,” Whereas non-successful people begin their statements by saying “I can’t.”
Yes, it does make a huge difference. For example, the poor will say “well I can’t afford it,” whereas the rich will say “how can I afford it?” (From Rich, Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki)
Have open-ended questions that will prompt you to be the best you can be. Do not block your blessings by having a limiting mentality.
In summary, start small, start with what you have and build on it slowly. Remember Rome was not built in one day.
7. Build a brand and audience
Whatever you do, you need an audience to succeed. Whether you are a writer, doctor, artist, or preacher, you need a happy client base.
In a real sense, everyone is their own kind of business. Whether you work for yourself or someone else, you sell your skills somehow.
That being said, a good tip to be successful in life, you need to start nurturing an audience now.
For example, if you plan on having your own successful medical practice in the next 10 years, start putting your name out there now.
Build a brand, audience trust, and credibility by giving first without selling. Start by sharing little tips here and there about health and wellness. So that when you are ready to open your practice, people know who you are. They will come to you because they trust you.
8. Maintain relationships
I know y’all will hate me for saying this. But, STOP CANCELING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY just because they don’t support you. This is simply because THEY ARE NOT YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE.
The only obligation friends and family have is to congratulate you. Nothing else. If they can’t say “congratulations” at the very least, then I don’t blame you for your actions.
People should only support you because they’re genuinely excited about your venture.
What people tend to forget, is that your friends and family hold a lot of power. It is called, the power of REFFERAL. They might not directly support you, but guess what, when they know someone who needs your product/service, you will be the first they think about. They will direct clients to you.
The sooner you accept this, the better for everyone. Stop giving people the burden to give you lies and excuses all the time.
Trust me, I learned this the hard way from experience. It’s freeing to accept, that your products/services are not for everyone.
It is not worth your time and energy to keep tabs on who didn’t support you and whatnot. Instead, focus all your energy on building new relationships and serving well those you already have.
Your business/career might not be thriving because you don’t want to take the time to build and nurture your target audience. You want real quick success by pressuring all your friends and family.
In fact, network harder and build solid relationships. Riding solo will do nothing but harm you. You need people in your life whether it is directly or indirectly.
If we just trust the process, good things will come.
Build slowly, Nurture, and Repeat. Everything is exponential from there.
9. Surround yourself with good and positive people.
One of the best tips on how to be successful is watching who you surround yourself with. You should never surround yourself with petty people, arrogant people, complainers, or bullies.
You should create clear boundaries and filter out negative people immediately before they even seek any further friendship. This is because they will unconsciously turn you into them.
If you want to be successful, you have to watch your environment. Remember, you don’t have to hang out with everyone or be friends with everyone.
Be around people who add value to your life. If someone is a negative influence, please let them step aside.
Nevertheless, be careful of what you allow your brain to consume. If you consume fear, you will produce fear, if you consume hate, you will produce hate and if you consume bad energy, you will produce bad energy.
With social media, there’s a lot of fake news going on. There is no need to share negativity with a multitude of people when it’s not from a credible source.
In addition, believe it or not, social media shows you more of what you like to consume. If you repost a complaint, guess what, the next post will probably be about another juicy complaint.
Just discern what is worth consuming and sharing. What emotions does it bring out of you? Does it bring you closer to being successful?
10. Be Grateful
Last but not least tip to be successful in life, remember to be grateful for what you already have.
Always thank your friends, co-workers, clients, spouse, and family for being a part of your success journey. Without some of them, you will definitely not be where you’re at.
Give credit where it’s due.
Nevertheless, remember to give thanks to God. Go back to your life journal and check off all that God has done for you.
